We want every ministry to succeed. If Grants Quest isn't helping you find the right funding opportunities, we'll make it right. Our goal is to serve your mission, not just sell a subscription.
1. Free Trial
We offer a 14-day free trial for all paid plans. During your trial:
- You have full access to all plan features
- No credit card is required to start
- You can cancel anytime without being charged
- Your trial converts to a paid subscription only if you choose to continue
2. Monthly Subscriptions
2.1 Cancellation
You can cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
- You won't be charged for the next month
- You retain access to all features until your subscription expires
- Your data is retained for 30 days after expiration (for potential reactivation)
2.2 Refunds
Monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started. However, we may offer refunds in the following circumstances:
- Technical issues that prevented you from using the service
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Requests made within 48 hours of the initial charge
3. Annual Subscriptions
3.1 Cancellation
Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your annual billing period
- You won't be charged for the next year
- You retain full access until your subscription expires
3.2 Refunds
For annual subscriptions, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee:
- Within 30 days: Full refund, no questions asked
- 31-90 days: Pro-rated refund for unused months
- After 90 days: No refund, but you can cancel to prevent renewal
4. Special Circumstances
We understand that ministries face unexpected challenges. We'll consider refund requests outside our standard policy for:
- Church closures or organizational dissolution
- Severe financial hardship affecting the ministry
- Extended service outages caused by us
- Features promised but not delivered

5. How to Request a Refund
5.1 Online
The fastest way to request a refund is through your account dashboard:
- Log in to your Grants Quest account
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Request Refund"
- Follow the prompts to submit your request
5.2 Email
You can also email us at billing@grants.quest with the following information:
- Your account email address
- Date of the charge
- Reason for the refund request
5.3 Processing Time
Refund requests are typically processed within 3-5 business days. Once approved, funds will be returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Fees for premium document review services already completed
- One-time consultation fees once the consultation has occurred
- Third-party services purchased through our platform
7. Plan Changes
7.1 Upgrades
When you upgrade your plan, you'll be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of your billing period. You'll have immediate access to the new plan's features.
7.2 Downgrades
When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You keep access to your current plan's features until then. No refund is issued for the difference.
